Times have changed a lot. When you were a kid, going on an international trip may have meant losing all contact with your parents. In today's tech world, that is no longer the reality. Parents expect to (and now can easily) be kept in the loop.

Your group coordinator will use social media to post pictures and videos consistently throughout the trip. This will allow parents to see how much fun the kids are having! It is normal for parents to have a hard time allowing their students to travel far away, where in most cases, all control over what happens is relinquished.
